Welcome to Hutchinson, one of Minnesota’s great small cities. Hutchinson was founded in 1855 by John, Judson and Asa Hutchinson, who were also famed singers of their time. From establishing the second oldest park system in the country to their early recognition of women’s rights, the Hutchinson Brothers left the city with a legacy of progressiveness that lives on today. Evidence of that progressiveness is found in all facets of our community including education, health care, social services, industry, economic development, and government. Most importantly, the people of Hutchinson work together to make this a better place to live, work and play.
